Gerrick Office is a two-person architecture and design firm based in Seattle, Washington and certified by the Washington State Office of Minority and Women’s Business Enterprises (OMWBE) as a Minority Business Enterprise (MBE).

As designers, our primary focus is on optimizing existing spaces, whether it be reclaiming attic space above a garage, lifting a house to gain habitable basement space, or transforming nondescript secondary areas into uplifting spiritual spaces. We search for opportunities to improve existing conditions through economical means reusing materials where possible, rather than tearing down and building with increasingly limited resources. Through this thoughtful dialogue with the past, novel and unexpected solutions arise that transcend preconceived design notions and suggest new ways of living in the world.
